We contracted with Beach Windows and Siding to replace a bathroom picture window that was leaking and after talking with Thomas, we decided to go ahead and replace all of our windows, 13 total, that were 24+ years old. Shannon and John arrived on time and went to work, never stopping, and completed the job in one day. Both Shannon and John were professional, courteous, and highly knowledgeable, and never failed to answer any questions we had. Their confidence in their workmanship put us at ease which was very important to us. The windows look great and are achieving the results we desired with warmer rooms due to foam insulation, Argon Gas, and Low-E glass. We are very pleased with the quality of the product and the workmanship of Shannon and John. We would highly recommend Beach Windows and Siding to anyone looking to replace their windows. Our first experience with them was great a year ago. Decided to use them again and I have been extremely disappointed. The caulking looks horrible. We do like the quality of the windows and are happy with the windows done the year prior.

We expressed concern regarding the caulking (sending photos to the company email) and they offered to come back to touch up. After install they used silicone caulk; for the touch up they used acrylic caulk (the contractor explained this to my husband and me before doing it). It cracked and clumps remained of the silicone since it was applied directly over the silicone. I sent more photos and spoke with the owner; he said he would have him come back and remove the old caulk and put new caulk in. I thought great!

When the contractor arrived he proceeded to tell me “sorry you didn’t understand me and they all use the same caulk.” This was not true. When he came to touch up he told me the man who installed the windows uses a different caulk than he does on the inside; we also didn’t have the odor after the first round vs after he used the acrylic caulk. He tried to tell me he was not taking out the old caulk and was just putting more on overtop again. I asked him to reach out to the owner because that was not what I was told. He read through his orders again and found he was mistaken as it was written to remove the old caulk. He then removed some of the old caulk. You can see in one of the photos where the silicone remains and is a bit shinier vs where he applied the acrylic caulk next to it. He clearly was not happy about coming back to correct the caulking. I proceeded to show him the windows we had done by the same company the year before and expressed how pleased I was with the quality of work. By the end of it I signed his paper and I was still unhappy with the results. Some photos below are final results as well.

I wish I had just redone the caulking myself as now plaster has been scraped off and it still looks terrible. He did not even properly clean the dust off after removing the caulk and it is stuck in the new caulk. Photos are post install and caulking done-redone. I will avoid the headache in the future and find another company.

I can't say enough good things about Beach Windows, Tom and the crew who did my job. Amazing folks who dealt with my OCD neurotic self during the install. We had all windows, siding and new sheathing completed. They basically tore it all down to the studs and rebuilt. They worked around me putting up new Rockwool to half the house during the install. They replaced a sliding glass door and converted a window in the back into a new door. About three months after the install it got hot and the back door was sticking a bit. They came out and fixed it for no charge. I will always recommend them. The OKNA casement windows on the lower floor are amazing! We love it all. Thanks again Tom and crew!

My wife and I have owned 10 homes during our marriage. Yes, we moved a lot for work. Anyway, with all homes purchased, we had to hire contractors for a variety of big and small projects. While I am quite capable of handing many home improvements, I just don't have the time to do large projects (I do have a job). Anyway, Beach Windows and Siding installed stone and vinyl shake siding on our entire home as well as many windows. The siding was a huge challenge, especially the stone around the foundation. given the different elevations of the home and its age. The team was VERY professional and worked all day in well over 90 degree heat 6 days a week. They showed up on time and worked throughout the day to complete the job in a timely fashion. Thomas Barringer, the owner, is without a doubt, the most responsive contractor with whom we have ever work with on all 10 homes we've owned. He even responded to a text while on vacation with his family in Florida. He responded quickly/promptly to any questions before, during and after the project was completed. His responsiveness is only surpassed by his friendly and affable demeanor. He is the consummate professional. Any reviews on here that are less than a 5 are, quite frankly, due to ignorance of products such as windows and their limitations . . . they are not bulletproof nor soundproof. If they were, you would be spending CONSIDERABLY more for that type of product which are not installed in homes. Once again, having owned 10 homes I can assure you Beach Windows and Siding is, by far, one of the best out there for windows and siding, both of which we had installed on our LAST home purchase.

We love our new custom window and siding. The crew completed the job in a week and my home looks fantastic. Would highly recommend to all our neighbors, family and friends.
