Entire team was amazing. Nick Barnes was point man walking me through all product options for someone like me who has little knowledge. Ultimately we ended up with products that fit my need and was actually the more affordable option ! No upselling. Nick is extremely knowledgeable.Secondly, had to navigate crossing USA border with all the complexities of tariffs. Rachel was a super star and got it done. Even answered an email at 8p.My contractor was extremely pleased with the quality of the doors and windows too. Don’t hesitate to utilize West Coast Windows. They went above and beyond in all respects.Thank you West Coast Windows !
Replaced two patio sliding doors, one standard and one special order. Both doors arrived within the timeline provided. Great communication with the company. The install crew was actually a little earlier than scheduled, who immediately went to work removing and completing the install. Very professional crew. Finished doors and trim look fantastic. They cleaned up their work area and were finished in a little over four hours. I've used West Coast Windows in the pass and if needed, will use them again.
We purchased 2 sets of patio doors a few years ago from West Coast Windows and they've been great! However, last summer we were having an issue with the rollers on one of the doors due to all the rain and moisture it's exposed to on the North Shore and Brock and his team made sure it was fixed quickly and properly. It's nice to buy a quality product and even better when you can have confidence in the company behind the product. I recommend you give West Coast Windows a call if you're in the market.
We used West Coast Windows to upgrade the aluminum sliders on our 1949 vintage bungalow back in 2014. We are still delighted with every aspect of our "new" windows. The aesthetics, the soundproofing, the installation process but most of all, the great service from the team at West Coast Windows. They handled some extra customization by way of design and colour options that make these windows look like they might be original to the house. Great company! Small enough to be flexible, but large enough for economies of scale..
As a general contractor in the renovation and new build industry developing trust with a supplier is key to future endeavors and the growth of the relationship. To facilitate that the first couple of dealings are critical, unfortunately with West Coast Windows the initial interactions have not bern 100% positive. Before I can award a large 20k+ supply contract to a sub-trade or supplier we owe it to our costumers and clients to ensure they are being serviced by the best we can offer and as such we "test tge waters" of potential suppliers and make our assessments based on a smaller and simpler project. West Coast Windows was commissioned to merely supply 2 windows for a small kitchen reno. Because they project was a reno and we were replacing windows into existing openings I felt it was important the manufacturer come to site and measure the opening themselves to ensure they had all the info to produce the product that would fit. The rep from West Coast Windows literally said it wasn't worth his time for just 2 windows. Further, when asked to meet with my clients to discuss function/configuration and design questions it was suggested they look on line or drive the 45km to their showroom. Very poor costumer service or care. The back and forth questions and answers via email through myself as apposed to a single visit from a rep delayed the selection process and consequently the project unnecessarily. Product arrived late albeit as ordered and of appropriate quality. We will not be using them again for any of our projects whether it be another 2 window kitchen reno or one of our major full home projects.
