Can't say enough good things about STL Windows and Doors crew!! Honestly! Did it take quite a long time from initial visit to install, yes. However, if I've learned anything at all through the entire storm rehabbing process, it's that good workers are hard to come by and a job well done is most definitely worth the wait. Due to it being one of the coldest weeks of the year, I got a call stating that they had some cancelations and wanted to know if we were open to having our windows installed the very next day instead of having to wait a possible month longer? Fortunately for us, we were able to adjust our work schedules and jumped at the opportunity to get a move on the much needed job of windows being installed! Due to there being so many cancelations and our home being a larger job than I guess the usual, (# of windows, not size of house) they sent all the guys they had available to get the job done! These guys were great! Every last one of them. They were all friendly, respectable, cleaned up after themselves, and did an AMAZING job!! Due to the bad storms back in March of 25, we've had our share of shotty work done, so trust me when I say that I definitely recognize good work when I see it!!! Job well done fellas!! Thank you all!!!!
Tony and his team did a fantastic job of window installation. All were kind and courteous. I appreciate the concern to reinstall the power shades properly. Despite the fact my installation was the second week of December, the house never got cold. I would recommend STL Windows and Doors anytime.
We had two hinged patio doors on to our deck and a sliding patio door installed this week. The crew was terrific. STL replaced 21 double hung windows, as well as two entry doors in our home. The entire process was handled very professionally, with great communication and results. The sales person, Dan, was very helpful in explaining the many available options, and also helped us work with the insurance company. Andy and his crew worked quickly and efficiently to get the work done, were able to work through a couple of unexpected problems, and kept a clean jobsite. Overall, a great experience!
We can't say enough good things about STL Windows and Doors. A few years back we found STL Windows and Doors through the recommendation from family members that raved about their service and products. STLW&D replaced all but one of our old windows at that time. We finally made the decision to replace the final window, a non-functional octagon window, with a new casement window and didn't hesitate to once again call them for this project. From the first meetings with Dan to go over the project and order the window to the actual install, they made it very easy and practically stress free. I say practically as we ran into a snag on the actual window install. Tony was fantastic in showing us an issue with the existing window frame (vent pipe hugging the old window frame) that were found and explaining the process for getting that issue resolved. We were able to get our GC to the home within a couple of days to reroute the pipe, making it possible for Tony to install the window the following week. The new window not only looks fantastic in our bathroom but also looks amazing from outside the house. The team took great care in installing and wrapping the exterior of the window that went above and beyond our expectations for the final product. Obviously we are going to require some additional drywall work and painting the bathroom but this actually gives us a good reason to freshen the entire bathroom with some new trim boards and fresh coat of paint throughout.Overall, we highly recommend STL Windows and Doors to anyone out there looking for superior service and a great product! I know we will be reaching out again when it's time to replace our exterior doors!
