Renewal by Andersen installed two replacement windows at my home. Mason Cloud, a designer consultant, was very knowledgeable and pleasant in helping me choose the windows I needed. Jacob and Tyler, the installers, were very pleasant, did a great job of installation, and were very neat in cleaning up. Jacob did a very thorough job of explaining how the windows worked. I would definitely buy Renewal by Andersen windows again. They offer an excellent product.
It is a great product strongly built. The installers did a great job installing the two new doors and getting them to blend into our old home. It changes the look of the home both inside and outside for the good. The home office kept use informed from start to finish. Good people all around.
My wife and I had 9 builder grade double-hung windows replaced in February of 2026 with RBA windows to cut down on winter drafts and afternoon summer sun. The salesman measured each opening twice, and the installation team had the windows installed in 5 hours. Very professional from start to finish, and we will be back to replace our old front door. You can pay for cheap windows and that's what you get, or you spend more and get the best. We love our new windows by RBA-STL.
I was extremely pleased with each aspect of my experience with Renewal by Anderson. It started with the salesman who took the time to find out what exactly I wanted. When I suggested I might not want a bay window but a flat window. He showed me pictures of both to determine. If I’d be happy with a flat window. I was. Then came the day of installation, 3 gentleman arrived at 7:30am and before I knew it, my old window was out and the new one was in. They worked efficiently and were very kind answering my questions, I couldn’t believe how quickly the job was finished and then the clean up. I had to do nothing when they drove off, a very pleasant day.
We are not satisfied with the installation of the front door. While we love the appearance of the door itself, it has been making random popping and crackling noises since installation.A technician has already come out to inspect the door but stated that he could not identify the cause of the noise. However, we are concerned that the issue is related to how the door was installed. It appears that there is a significant amount of variance between the door frame and the opening. While I was not able to take exact measurements, based on visual inspection and the attached photos, the variance appears to be approximately one inch or more around the doorway. The installers filled this space with foam insulation, and I believe the popping and crackling noises may be coming from the foam expanding and contracting due to this excessive gap. When I questioned the installers about the fit, I was told that having more foam insulation is preferable to having a more precise fit. This explanation does not align with our experience, especially when compared to our patio door installation. The patio door, which is entirely glass, was measured to fit much more accurately and required only a small amount of insulation. Notably, it does not make any noise.Given these concerns, we would like this issue reviewed further and properly addressed. We are confident the door itself is a quality product, but we believe the installation may be the source of the problem.
