My experience with Einar Johanson from beginning to end was nothing but top notch. I can't recommend them enough. I had been meeting with different window companies on and off for 2 years mainly because the whole journey seemed overwhelming and stressful. Once Doug came over to quote replacing all the windows in my house, he made it no hassle, enjoyable and zero pressure. He listened to what I wanted, answered questions and spelled out everything plain and simple, honest, no "sales" approach whatsoever. The price was reasonable as well. I was happy to sign up and my windows were ready in 6 weeks. Customer service was top notch as well with Heather able to answer all my questions with each call. Then came the window installation (shout out to Chandler and Cole, my window installers) - they were so nice, very respectful of my home, and completely transparent with how the week would go and their work was chef's kiss. Their attention to detail and quality work was something I was so appreciative of. And let me tell you about the windows!! They look fantastic, quality is great, the sound reduction is EXCELLENT, and I can already tell a big difference in temperature/heat insulation. Again, highly recommend!
I had a great experience working with Einar Johanson. I replaced two 110-year-old wooden windows with new wooden framed windows, and replaced two large basement windows that were literally falling apart with vinyl framed security windows. Everyone I worked with was knowledgeable and experienced and friendly, for the quote, measurements, and Ivan and Yarik who installed. They helped match my needs with a range of types and brands of windows and their prices were a little cheaper than another company I'd worked with in the past. Install was easy. I had the day off at home with my daughter, and Ivan and Yarik were friendly and accommodating. They cleaned up really well and the quality of work is great. They were done the same day. The windows look amazing. I'd recommend them to anyone.
We went with Einar Johanson after a lengthy review process (we chatted with 4-5 other Window/Door/Exterior companies) for our complex remodeling project. We felt most confident in EJ's ability to pull off the project - and we're happy we did go with them! We are very happy with the final results. EJ took an existing exterior wall of our house with no windows and added approximately ~150 total square feet of new windows. They worked off plans that we had a structural engineer draw up and stayed on spec from the plans and as a result we had two clean inspections from the city. The entire crew was an absolute pleasure to work with, from Earl who came out for our initial evaluation, JD the owner who worked with me on the bid, to John who did critical measurements and actually oversaw the project. As well all the individual installers were courteous, respectful, and diligent while we coexisted in the house during the project.I can't be more happy with how the project turned out and would definitely work with EJ again!
We decided to work with Einar Johanson to upgrade the majority of the windows in our 100+ year old Seattle home. The quality of the work was impressive and our installers, Ivan and Yarak, were communicative and a pleasure to work with. Despite finding and repairing rot issues from an improperly installed old window, the project finished on time to accommodate painting. I would recommend EJ for all local homeowners, especially those with older homes.
