After a HORRIBLE experience with a local window company, I contacted Wiebe Windows for a quote on 14 windows and 2 doors. Their quote came fast with drawings and specific details on the windows and doors that were easy for me to understand. Their Lux products come from Calgary which are highly-rated and approved for the grant rebates via the Green Grant program (the stickers on all of them verified their specs). The windows and doors came on schedule when they were expected.When the Lux windows and doors arrived, I was blown away how well-made and beautiful they were (I could write pages on that topic). I’ve looked at a lot of other brands of windows and doors; Lux leaves them all behind in the dust!On install day, Brad rolls up with two of his assistants and a big scaffold. My previous windows from SunView were installed with one guy and a ladder. My house is multi-level so this explains some of the huge disparity in the install quality.Brad ordered the correct size windows and doors leaving 1/2 inch space on each side of the RO for shims, blocking and foam. Brads install also included stick and peel to protect the RO from any water intrusion. NONE of that was installed by SunView!Brad is extremely knowledgeable and experienced! Watching him and his team work, I seen what perfectionists they are evidenced by the finished work. I had no idea how complex window and door manufacturing and installing is. There is no building code for windows or doors. A snake oil salesman can sell you windows that don’t even qualify for the green grant. They can sell you what you didn’t order. My SunView windows came with ZERO stickers. Those stickers are necessary to qualify for the green grant. No stickers…no grant.To conclude, I would give Wiebe Windows 100 stars out of 10! Brad and Anna are very approachable, honest, knowable and experienced! I’m am forever grateful to them and their team. Go to Anna and Brad for a quote FIRST, then get other quotes and you will see how Lux windows and doors are far superior as is Brad’s install team!!!
From start to finish, Wiebe Windows & More were excellent.Anna was able to come and provide a price quickly, they came to install the windows when they said they would, and Brad & the crew were very friendly, professional and cleaned up after the install.It wasn't your typical window install, being a 5 piece bow, and we are extremely happy with the finished product!
We retained Wiebe Windows for window/door renovations for our living room ,Kitchen ,entry and bathroom areas.The living room was a major structural reno. Brad gave us great advice on how to balance the large windows and doors in the living room.They installed sliding patio doors along with windows on both sides and rake windows above.The patio doors are high quality and slide with ease. Anna, Brad and crew were great to deal with from the start, providing an accurate thought out quote and pro service right to the end of the install. I shopped this job around (12 windows plus a door) and the pricing was in line and fair. These people have talent and the detail and aesthetic of the finished job is fantastic. The house is quieter and the view to the outside is so clear! All this as they hustled to beat the daily rain. Clean work environment and good natured people.
