These guys were wonderful! I told them what I wanted, my price range, they came in and handled everything beautifully. The windows are holding up nicely and the space is welcoming and bright!
We are very happy with the service we have received from Weather Pro. The representative was respectful and actually listened to our wishes for the windows and doors we wanted with pertinent information and advice on the specifics of our requests. We look forward to the final products being installed. We fully recommend them to anyone asking.
Windows are still awaiting install due to the winter weather but I was asked to rate the service so far. Sales associate was excellent and thorough, provided lots of information regarding the best window options for our house. Due to the older age of our house we had lots of questions, and he even came by a second time to answer questions and ensure we were choosing the right product. We received a few quotes for windows and this was the most competitive.
I had contacted Weather pro to get an estimate for replacing 12 windows and 2 doors after receiving a flyer in my mail advertising a 30% discount for ordering 9+ windows. When I talked to the salesman named Barry, and inquired about the discount, he told me quote "We use that so we get our foot in the door". That should have been my first sign of bad things to come. Needless to say, there was no discount. I then sent the quote in for the greener home loan program. Once I was approved for my loan I again contacted Weather pro to get the ball rolling on ordering and instalation of windows. 3 times they came for measurements and I was informed that 1 of my windows needed to be a tempered glass due to its size and I agreed to this. Prior to install, I was then told that payment was due upon completion of the job. I then advised Weather pro that I was using the Greener home loan which required an energy audit prior to receiving the loan. Weather pro was adamant about being paid in full upon completion so they set me up with a finance company called Financeit who had approved me for the balance owing after putting down approx. $8000 deposit. All figures and balance was submitted by Weather pro to Financeit and once the job was completed, I signed off on the work and Financeit payed Weather pro the balance that was owed. At this point my last contact with Weather pro was on Oct 23. (The date of instalation). Work was completed on Oct 25th and Financeit paid Weather pro and I was sent my receipt stating full payment was made. I then booked a date for the energy audit and had it done. I was again contacted by Weather pro on Nov 7 asking how everything was. I told them the windows were fine and I was happy with the work. On Nov 12, I was contacted by Greener homes and was told my loan was reduced because my window count was lowered due to my window count going from 12 to 9 windows. This in turn lowered my loan amount from appox. $19000 to $15000. Yet there was no reduced price from Weather pro from this change. I was unaware of any changes so I called Weather pro for an explanation. Weather pro told me they had amalgamated 3 of my windows lowering my window count. Again, there was no lower price for this reduced window count from Weather pro. I was then told that I still had an outstanding balance owing of just over $1100 for the upgraded window. I told the person I was talking to, Natalie, that I don't owe anything, I was given my final receipt from Weather pro showing my bill was paid. Again, all figures were submitted by Weather pro to Financeit and Financeit paid Weather pro the balance owing. I advised Natalie that I'm not going to pay for someone else's mistake and as far as I'm concerned my bill to Weather pro is paid in full. Since then I received the Greener home loan and paid Financeit in full. There was no mention of an outstanding balance when I was contacted by Weather pro on Nov 7. I was not told about this until Nov 12 when I contacted Weather pro and asked about the window count. I received my final receipt on Oct 28 stating my bill to Weather pro was paid in full.As far as in concerned, technically Weather pro owes me appox. $5800 for the 30% discount I should have received as advertised for 9+ windows. And who does this Natalia think she is telling me I still owe money when I have a final receipt showing I'm paid in full. Not to mention I've received nothing from Weather pro, other than phone calls and emails telling me to pay more. Further more, I was told that Barry was going to put a rush in on my order and the work was suppose to happen in July. It was not done until Oct. Nov 27th i received an email stating my warranty will not be honored until payment is made. To me this amounts to nothing less than extortion since i have a receipt showing full payment was made by Financeit based on the figures Weather pro provided and Financeit has been paid by the greener home loan. The star is for the installers. If not for them there's no star to give
I replaced a large front window on my house that was cracked. The install went very well and the guys did a great job with finishing. The original window they supplied had a damaged trim piece and the installer apologized for the issue and went back to their warehouse same day to get a replacement and reinstalled it.The entire process of getting a quote, booking the measurements, and installation was smooth. Will definitely reach out in the future as needed.
