I’ve had a really disappointing experience working with Oded at Sivan Windows. After spending $70,000 on windows and doors my order was delayed despite Oded knowing it was urgent that we got our order as soon as possible. Unfortunately that was just the start of my disappointment because when one window and one door of a 19 piece ordered arrived the door was incorrect. We had changed the color of the doors to bronze from surf but Oded only changed the color of the frame but left the divided lights green. As you can imagine, I am not familiar with reading complex window and Door orders so I did not notice that he had made a mistake. When the door was delivered and I brought it to his attention, he took no accountability and blamed me as the customer. I would expect that a customer service sales person who is helping make a $70,000 order would have made it very clear that they were making a selection that would look very odd. Oded was always dismissing me and I never felt like he had my best interest in mind.
I worked with Oded at Sivan Windows & Doors to replace some double-paned windows from the 80’s that had fogged up. It was easy to set up the appointment to get a quote, and Oded patiently explained their process and answered all my questions. He never pressured me to hire them and was very helpful. His office staff were also always quick to answer the phone and a pleasure to work with. I visited the showroom before committing and Oded’s team came twice to make sure measurements for the dimensions and frame were all perfect (I was trying to match the new windows more closely to my old historic single-paned windows). I ended up having to cancel the contract before permitting began because I decided to go with a custom-made windows so they could have the same old hardware/pulley system as our historic windows and fully match them. However, Oded was very patient and professional throughout all interactions. I would recommend Sivan W&D to anyone looking for a small, attentive, family-run business.
