I contacted Raleigh Windows and Siding along with a few other contractors. In large part based upon the reviews they had posted. After working with them I whole heartedly agree with those reviews. They came right out and discussed the project which included new siding, all trim and new gutters. They were very helpful in terms of our timing financial concerns. The work is now completed and I would say they are probably the best contractor we’ve ever worked with. Communication was excellent and timely. The workmanship was excellent in every regard. The project was well coordinated and supervised. They were very responsive to every question and special request. They obviously took a great deal of pride in their work and now I feel very proud of how our house looks and comfortable knowing that the materials and workmanship carry the longest warranty available.
They were all great to work with, communicated well, set proper expectations and worked quickly. They kept us informed through all phases of the project and got our input on any decisions or changes that came up. They knew the area well, and helped us make the right decisions with our project so we can love our house again! Highly Recommend!
Raleigh Windows and Siding replaced all my exterior siding, trim and backdoor (old stuff was rooting and falling apart). I inspected the work every night and the quality was great, much better than the original home builders. They fixed any problems they came accross without extra fees. Communication was great during the quoting, good while waiting and great while the work was happening. Total job took less than 10 days to complete and team was very professional.Just be prepared to wait a while. They have a big list of jobs and it takes a few months between signing and start for the work.
I cannot speak highly enough about the siding and widow replacement work that Raleigh Windows and Siding completed on our home near downtown Durham! Quotes from other companies were outside of our budget because they quoted Hardie Plank, which requires sheathing. Since we did not know if we had sheathing under our existing siding - and did not have the budget to add it - we were grateful Raleigh Windows and Siding was able to offer an option that made the project possible for us.From start to finish, our Project Manager, Andrew Forster, did an excellent job understanding our priorities: staying within budget and preserving as much of the home’s original character as possible, especially the trim details. During our first meeting, he recommended an alternative siding option—LP SmartSide—that fit our budget and did not require sheathing. He also offered thoughtful ideas to help us maintain the home’s charm, which was not something any of the other companies offered. It was a much appreciated level of interest and engagement in our project.Throughout the entire process, Andrew was consistently knowledgeable and responsive (which says a lot since I am a big question asker :) ). His crew was equally fantastic—efficient, respectful, and careful to keep our property clean every day.As a bonus, they agreed to paint the interior of our house and replace our crown molding, and the results were fantastic.
