We had our bay window put in last week. The installation went well. The 2 gentlemen who installed the bay window were very polite , professional, and also very good at their jobs. It was a cold windy day and it took quite a while to put in, however, they didn’t let it stop them from doing the job right. I would let these two gentlemen do work at my home anytime. ***** five stars for sure!

At the time, it wasn’t the right moment financially, so we put things on hold. Fast forward a year and a half, and I reached out again—Tim didn’t miss a beat. He met with us again, reviewed products in depth, and was always available whenever we had questions. Sure, some materials aren’t made locally, but that’s unavoidable. What really stands out is the team’s dedication to quality and customer care.We did our homework and had several companies provide estimates. Canadian Choice wasn’t the cheapest—they were the second lowest—but they had exactly the door we wanted: the draftLOCK™ TrueCrankless with SecurityGuard Series Tilt and Turn Patio Doors. No one else had it, and let me tell you, this door is a total game changer! It seals tight, both doors open fully to make our backyard feel like an extension of our living space, and they tilt from the top for fresh air—European style. The screen even pops out safely if a dog bumps into it. Seriously, look into this door—it’s amazing!We also upgraded our three front windows, adding two crank windows as the original window only had the one crank window. The quality and service provided is definitely a 5 star rating. Alex and his team were professional, knowledgable, efficient and friendly. We wanted some of our windows redesigned and Alex's suggestions were spot on.After the initial installation we had an issue with one window and Canadian Choice promptly did the repairs, it did involve a window replacement, they stood by their product and warranty.Knowing Canadian Choice is still in business gives us the comfort of knowing that future repairs, if needed, can be made in a timely manner.A few tips to homeowners. Windows are like having a vehicle and need to be maintained. You have to take care of them, clean them and allow them to breath. Ensure your humidity levels in your home are within the acceptable levels 30 - 60 %, ideally 40%, prior to installation of your new windows.As well, if you are a homeowner who's investing in new windows and doors, make sure your heating and cooling system is functioning appropriately. Do not cover heating vents and returns, take your screens off in the winter and allow your windows to breath.Lack of insulation and drafts will also cause issues. Get a proper assessment from an approved Energy assessor.Bottom line is, as a homeowner we have the responsibility to do our research, we did follow our own advice and are extremely happy customers.Thank you Alex and team for the invaluable information, product and service. We definitely recommend Canadian Choice Windows. They were the only company willing to come all the way to our house to take a look at what we needed. We had just built a sunroom and needed someone with expertise in taking measurements and hand-holding us in the process of choosing the windows. Sasha showed up and from then on everything went well. He showed us the many types of windows, and even gave us a solution to something that seemed to be a problem. Showed us how to apply for financing and assured us that the windows would be in before Christmas, which was our goal. It took them less than 8 weeks to have them installed. Leon came with his colleague and installed them last Friday. Told me what he was doing and why and he and his colleague installed the 8 windows in about 5 hours, cleaned everything up and left. We are extremely happy with the windows. Great service, great windows!
