Sean & Jim are exceptional technicians! Both were very professional, thorough, respectful, knowledgeable. Also they have great personalities which made my experience even more pleasant. If I could leave a 10 star review I would definitely do so! It’s a pleasure doing business with United Windows & I hope other valued customers can say the same. Thank you to Sean & Jim specifically plus the entire United family!
We just purchased windows for our home. $19k plus in windows and patio sliders Delivery from Lowe’s was a joke. Windows were laying in the floor in the truck unsecured Several windows have broken nail flanges. Paid top dollar for black on black windows only to see white on every mitre both inside and outside mitre.Update - Happy to report United did an excellent t job in making the issues right. My patio doors slide effortlessly and lock. My windows look as expected and all function as desired. George and his team are the best at customer service an satisfaction. I would recommend United windows but do yourself a favor and buy them direct or through 84 lumber. Stay away from the big box retailers like Lowe’s or HD. Deal direct and be a happy customer for life.
?We purchased six custom-sized new construction windows, and the experience has been a total nightmare. Upon delivery, only two of the six windows were undamaged. Before we even touched them, we could see four windows with cracks and broken pieces on the outer flanges, one with cracked interior trim, and another with a cracked outer frame.?Dealing with their warranty department is an exercise in futility. We were stuck in a loop for over a month, constantly being transferred and getting the run-around. When they finally offered a 'resolution,' it was insulting. They are only replacing the outer frame of one window and expecting us to DIY the repair by popping out the interior windows to place in the new frame.?The staff treated this solution like they were doing me a massive favor and even refused to deliver the replacement directly to my home. Between the abysmal quality control and the terrible customer service, I highly recommend looking elsewhere. Save yourself the headache.
We received multiple broken windows due to extremely insufficient packaging. The windows were wrapped in plastic with only minimal cardboard on the corners, nowhere near adequate protection for transport. As a result, the windows arrived damaged.Trying to get replacements has been a nightmare. It has taken over a month so far, with more than 20 hours spent on the phone, and there is still no resolution. We were transferred repeatedly and given the runaround. At one point, I was transferred to Mark, who became hostile when I asked to speak with a supervisor, stating, “you don’t want to go down this route,” which felt threatening and completely unprofessional. He also denied that the windows would ever be packaged that way, despite the fact that we have clear photo evidence showing exactly how they were shipped.Between the damaged product, refusal to take responsibility, and disrespectful customer service, this has been an extremely frustrating experience. I would not recommend United Windows based on our experience.
Wow, Terrible experience. Window came in slightly late the first time. Wasn't ours! Ok, mistakes happen. Tried to order a new one, but they said they would 'find it'. 4 weeks later they found it alright. Looked kike it was ripped out of a house, dirty and even had used chewing gum on it!!! There was caulk on it (must have been used) they said they would refund us or it would be another 3 weeks for a window. Then they became nasty and won't refund us. We'll they did offer us an insulting refund. Look at the pics. Save your time and money, USE A BETTER MORE REPUTABLE COMPANY. The insulation was ripped off as well
