I recently bought a front window three pieces put together the window leaks very badly. It also is crooked. There are gaps where the window slide up and down the windows can be pushed left right up down. They seem to have a lot of play and there is air coming through on the outside the caulking is not covering. There are holes visible, where no caulking was I’ve bought two brands of windows for my house. The other ones are all fine over 12 of them Because it was recommended by a contractor working on my home worst decision I’ve ever made beware as new windows are installed before the siding goes on So it’s a huge issue to change the window, but it will be done because I’m not going to have air flowing through my home in the middle of winter thank you. Great job can’t believe this was sold in a store.
Absolutely horrible experience through our contractor, through Home Hardware. They covered up the damage from the factory with foam. Our contractor inspected the window and accepted it upon delivery. Once fully unpacked the damage was evident. Now our contractor can't even get the issue resolved after a week from delivery. Absolutely terrible experience. Go anywhere else.
I've had issues with my door since last fall. The dealer who installed has been back and forth a few times but did not fix the problem.Joel from Extreme came today (different from dealer/installer) and it seems like it's fixed. Joel was awesome to work with and I really hope he fixed it for us. He took the time needed and discussed with me what he was doing and why. Rarely, do you get someone who seems to care about their work but this guy did. He actually restored my faith not only in the product but in what service used to be like. Great job guys and I hope I never see you again. Haha!Thanks Joel!
I would give zero stars if it were an option. Do yourself a favor if considering buying/supporting this company go to Home Depot or any other building centre and purchase there. That way you will be able to get something done should a problem arise with the product. These folks do less than nothing to help. They build garbage "the worst I have seen in 29 years of construction." Pictures taken of products as they came off truck with major flaws. And nothing done about it. 3 months later they sent a tech to look at it who passed it off as nothing, despite the door literally not being able to close and latch. $1700 door and held closed with a piece of wire and block through the deadbolt. Posting pictures to back up words. Note how the door is sitting along the sill plate, 3/4 out from side to side on 36", right off the truck, but it's our problem!!! Complete garbage company. Box stores would at least return and replace. Also note the broken nailing flange, chipped door sweep and silicone sticking out of frame around the glass. Real quality craftsmanship there I tell ya!
