Cole did an amazing job providing detailed and thorough information about Champions pride in providing quality products and exceptional warranties. He explained things clearly and patiently. He was very personable and very gifted in providing a comfortable and pleasant experience. As a result, I have a deep respect and admiration for Champion as a top of the line window and door manufacturer.

The only reason this review is two stars is because the sales representative himself was very professional, polite, and respectful. He deserves five stars. Unfortunately, everything else followed a very cliché and outdated sales approach.We signed up at a local home show for Champion to provide an estimate on replacing four windows. The representative was clearly following his training, but the tactic itself needs to be updated and will continue to fail with the newer demographic of homeowners and buyers.The sales pitch was straight out of the 1990s. It involved a three ring binder with photos, company history, comparison quotes from other installers, and the usual “What do you think so far” questions. This was followed by BTU comparison readings against other windows and a demo sized window to highlight features. They typical 30-45 minute “get you feeling good about our product pitch “Then came the pricing. There was the “typical price”, the “promotional price” and finally the “sign this multi thousand dollar agreement right now and you will magically save thousands price.” Any modern sales course will show that high pressure, time limited pricing has a very low success rate with younger Gen X and Millennial homeowners.What would increase higher success sales rates for said demographic is straightforward pricing generated from a software program with preset and transparent costs based on window size, materials, and installation. Use an iPad, show the numbers clearly, and be honest. Transparency would go much further and would actually set Champion apart from competitors who use this exact same sales pitch.Had I been given at least a day to review the quote without Champions same day decision to save thousands pressure tactic, I likely would have purchased the windows.
Our front entry door looks great however, the caulking around the door was terrible. I called and they made an appointment to re-caulk but no one showed up. A few weeks passed and I reached out again. After threatening them with a bad review, they finally sent someone out and now the caulk looks even worse than before. There is a tool for making a perfect caulk line. They don’t use that tool, they use their fingers and caulk gets everywhere. The caulk looks horrible, even from a distance. Very disappointing.
Champion window service was great. Seth Caldwell was amazing. He showed us the differences between different types of windows and why champions was the better choice for us. The warranty that they offer is unmatched between the multiple estimates that we received. The price with their promotion buy 2 get 2 free was great and we are now able to replace 60 years old windows. Another important point to mention is that the windows are triple glass and Seth showed us the insulation quality of the windows. I’m very excited to see my electrical and gas bills go down and enjoy my new windows in my upstairs bedroom. Sean gave us a 5 star service with in depth explanations and well delivered presentation on why champion was the right choice. I will recommend Champion to all my friends and anyone that is looking to buy new windows.UPDATEThe communication was great, and they installed the windows only 3 weeks after purchase. The windows are great not only for insulation but also for sound proofing. Our bedroom now is very insulated and quiet. Very happy with the process and we will definitely purchase more windows in the future.
