Reviews consistently mention helpful guidance in the showroom and efficient installation work. Customers frequently call out good communication and follow-up to address small issues after the job. Many highlight improved curb appeal from door glass inserts and new entry doors.

I’ve worked with many contractors and vendors in the beaches area renovating our home. Andy was really helpful, professional and the door install went well.

There was a minor issue with part of the glass upon install and he was true to his word, ensuring that it was taken care of and fixed.

I recommend Andy and his business, reputable and trustworthy.

Desiree Stephenson on Jacksonville Doors and Windows

Ricky came out and installed our new glass door today. He was so quick! It looks amazing and so much better than I had thought it could! Andy walked me through all the options in the showroom and answered any and all questions I had or could have had later. Highly recommend this team!!

Jacksonville Door and Window did an amazing job on my front door glass insert. With the purchase of a new construction home, we really wanted the nice glass that some of the other homes had. From the sales process to the installation, we were quite happy with the service. The installer Rick did a great job and Andy the owner was attentive to our wants and needs. Would definitely recommend!

We reached out to the company based on an ad. We made it clear that the sole reason we wanted to replace our 4-panel sliding glass doors was because I could no longer stand to look at the poor quality of the doors installed at construction (the panes were not cleaned prior to assembly; hence, dirt and streaks between the panes). Andy assured us that we would not have that issue with them and that he would personally come by after install to inspect. Not only did that never happen, but I am unable to get these windows clean. I suspect that there was a film on the outside of the glass, and despite using traditional glass cleaner; foaming glass cleaner recommended by Andy; and following a six step process with special rags, squeegees, and vinegar solution, this is my view every day after I’ve spent an hour cleaning them. Never in my life have I had such an issue cleaning windows. To say I am a fastidious cleaner would be an understatement. It shouldn’t be this hard and I am beyond frustrated that we spent such a large sum to be left with the same problem we were trying to solve. I have reached out to Andy on more than one occasion and get ghosted.

Update 12/20: Andy personally came to our home and spent nearly 45 minutes cleaning and inspecting the window. On a positive note, it validated that I had tried everything and wasn’t completely losing my mind because he saw all the same issues. The downside is he can’t fix it so it’s over to Pella now as Andy has never seen this phenomenon before. Hoping they can fix it since it was a heck of a lot of money to spend to replace one dirty window with another, regardless of cause.

4/10/25 update: Round 2. I can’t let the response from Jacksonville Door and Windows go unaddressed because it’s not an entirely accurate representation of what’s happened/happening. As a customer, I want nothing more than to see 5-star reviews, but buyer beware: if you have any issues w your glass, you should expect an experience like ours.

Despite the response stating “You aren’t going over to Pella. We handle all of that for you,” I am effectively the project manager for this job. Despite paying nearly $10,000, everything is happening with Pella now with Andy telling me the only thing he can do for me is scheduling, but since he doesn’t know my calendar, that would be inefficient. Pella ordered the new doors, Pella came to install them. Jacksonville Door and Windows is out of the loop (except when Andy texts ME for status). The other thing we learned is that the local Pella company that we’re dealing with doesn’t manufacture the windows either! He said they are outsourced to several different manufacturers. So we’re even more confused about whether or not we’re getting Pella windows at all, which is something that was important to us having used them in the past with wonderful results.

When Pella came to inspect our doors after my initial review, they determined that our sliders were assembled backwards; the UV coating was on the outside of the glass so when we tried to clean them, the coating was directly affected creating all the smearing. They reordered the doors and after a month, Pella showed up to install the new doors (NOT Jacksonville Doors and Windows). We now have streaks within the panes, and even some etching on the glass. So our first “extremely rare case of glass defect” is now a second even more extremely rare case of glass defect.

We are so stoked about our new windows and door from Jacksonville Doors and Windows!!! The install crew was amazing and would recommend this company to anyone! It was a pleasure from beginning to end working with this company.  Especially fixing the issues the previous contractor caused when installing the back door.  Andy had a great solution to get a framed door put in place so it was properly sealed all the way around, along with opening, shutting and locking with easy. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
