The entire process was great. Salesman was great, communication was plentiful. Installed 2 weeks ahead of schedule. Installers were incredible. They showed up exactly on time and went right to work. Kept me apprised of what they were doing along the way. Completed installation within 8 hours. Cleaned everything up, you'd never know they were even here. A fantastic experience, completely satisfied.
Working with Champion was super easy, and everyone was very knowledgeable and happy to answer any and all my questions. Install crew was punctual and worked nonstop until they finished (about 7 hours for 8 windows and a patio door). I'd recommend anyone interested in replacing their windows to get a consultation!
Contacting and picking a time for a rep to come talk about Champion windows was very easy. Our rep was Terry and he could not have been nicer. Terry was well informed and answered all our questions. Making the decision to replace our windows as well as placing vinyl siding on out house was easy. We can’t wait to see the transformation of our house.
My install this summer... from smoking on the job, to no-showing several days off and on, to leaving oven exhaust covered, to knocking down a flood light, to the wiring being nailed into the siding, and when I reported the issue they said they didn't know why it wasn't working anymore.... well it was because it was shorting and tripped a circuit. Could have started a fire. In fact was very close from how much smoke was there that I could see. The installers broke a window, and didn't speak English, when I finally got a translator he said they didn't break it, and it had to have been our interior remodelers, well the camera showed they were no where near, while the siding team was all over the area. When speaking to their manager, he said it was them and someone admitted. Well when it came to repair, they couldn't find a window to match, then they got a pane and put white plastic around it, then painted it with aluminum coloring to match the frame after I complained. The install team does not communicate with the sales team. Very unprofessional. The bay windows were supposed to be flush with siding on the top and sides, instead I was told the wood is part of the window frame so they couldn't cover it. After making another complaint they finally came back out and covered it on the sides... with mismatched metal trimmings. Top looked good. The contractors who i was told were employed by Champion directly at the time of the estimate, were actually subcontractors. When I specifically asked to make sure they installed in house, they said they did, but in fact it was a 3rd party! The installers even said so, and when I questioned Champion's sales and install management about it they "outsource when things get backed up" but that was not mentioned at time of sale. A few months after the install and I still have areas that are damaged, mismatched and unsatisfactory! Given plenty of time to make this right, but consistent issues! Also so many air gaps! I've been told I'm responsible for silicone/caulking gaps. As example image of the mid install with the siding to rock siding gap where water can slide in the area not sealed between the two... Moisture build up waiting to happen! Also constant miscommunication from the sales and install team!!!! One hand isn't talking to the other! -100/10.
We had a fantastic experience with Champion to replace all 38 windows in our home. That many windows was going to cost us a fortune with other companies but Champion convinced us the vinyl would like great and it really does! Travis and his install team made the three day install process easy and did a great job with the replacement. We got black on outside and white on inside. For the half circle design they were able to make the window grids from a design I drew. Was very happy they could make a custom grid design.
