We're really happy with the new windows and the service and installation from Metro, and would definitely recommend! We needed to replace several windows and got quotes from four different companies in the area. Chris Isles from Metro came out to measure the windows and give us recommendations and was very helpful. Metro gave us the lowest quote and we were leaning in that direction, but ended up putting the project off for a couple years. We came back to Chris later and asked if they could change a few of the details and requote. He was very patient with our requests and provided the new quote, so we ended up going with them. The windows were ready about three months later and they scheduled the installation which would take a couple days. The installers, Matt and Roheep, did a great job. It would have been done on schedule but the last window had significant rot underneath, so they had to schedule another day to come out and replace it before installing that window. They left the old window in and sealed up the rotted area below it. We had several rainy days so it took a few weeks for them to come back, but the rest of the rot replacement and window installation went smoothly. After that we had a few problems with the screens, but Chris reassured us it was no problem to fix and got us in touch with Kohltech, and the issue was fixed.
This winter, Metro replaced 6 of our windows and two of our doors. From Peter the sales consultant, to coordinating with Marlie and Kayla, to the installation by Ryan and Jaspreet, the entire process went very smoothly. Everyone was very professional and friendly, and we are delighted by the end results. Will definitely go back to Metro for any future window and door needs. Thanks everyone!
We went to Metro Windows to get a quote to replace our front door and 3 windows. Peter Kelly came to our house to assess our request. He looked at our front door and told us there was nothing wrong with our door. The seal around the door was fine and the door operated as it should. He told us that he could not sell us a door any better than the door we had. The front door area is cold not because of the door. It’s cold because there is only a small heating vent in this area, a high ceiling and a fairly open space.The windows we were looking to replace were fogging up because the seals were broken. Peter looked at our windows and gave us another option to replacing the windows. He suggested we may want to consider replacing the glass instead of the entire window since they were in good condition.Peter provided us with a quote for replacing the windows and he also provided the names of companies that replace glass.In the end we chose to go with glass replacement. It saved us a lot of money and inconvenience.I cannot comment on Metro Windows work but I can comment on their employee Peter Kelly. It is amazing to come across someone with so much honesty, integrity and respect. He truly cares about his customers and will put their wishes ahead of his own.My only regret is not being able to give Metro Windows any business but if you want an honest assessment of your situation go to Metro Windows and Doors!
We replaced all our windows (expanding 3) and a door and we're so happy with how everything turned out. The installers were great, very respectful and clean and did great work with all of the trim. Very pleased!
