Window Doctor installed a replacement bay window for us last fall. They were able to replace the window (picture and 2 double-hungs) without replacing the frame, which was still in good shape. This saved us a considerable amount of money.Joe, Dylan and their team got the install finished up before Christmas. Window Doctor kept us informed about scheduling throughout the process. We're very pleased with our installation and our interactions with the staff.
Joe and his team did a great job on our 5 windows and a door install. I was pleasantly surprised on how quick they were able to get the job done. They fixed the problems that were found before they left. Communication was great, they kept up updated through the whole process. We received our initial quote in March, and they were able to keep the price the same as the quote, no surprises there. Would definitely recommend and use their service again! We live next to the railroad and the sound difference from our old widows is better.
I hired Window Doctor for a few small projects based on the great reviews online. I scheduled a service call to quote me on - 1.) replacing a broken glass pane, 2.) sealing a couple windows, and 3.) replacing an old window. When the technician came out we discussed the project and the technician indicated that they would replace the old window with the closest option to my existing windows and that it would look very similar. The Company did a great job replacing the glass pane and sealing my windows, but I was disappointed with the replacement window. Per the photo attached, it does not look anything like my existing windows. I politely told the installers that I was going to hold off on paying the remainder of my invoice while I worked on a solution with the owner - the installers were extremely friendly and professional, and the conversation was not confrontational at all. One of them even agreed that they were surprised when they showed up that this particular replacement window had been selected.Soon after they left I got a call from the owner, Chris. His tone was much different. He was extremely aggressive, accused me of "refusing to pay" and barely allowed me to speak as he loudly shouted over me. He repeatedly said that the initial service call was not to quote me on the replacement window, despite the email I received from the Company (below) and that he had selected the replacement window himself (despite never seeing my home) when I called to clarify the missing window replacement on the original quote provided.Overall I am very disappointed that the Owner was not willing to have a cordial conversation and seek to find a mutual solution. His actions made me feel so uncomfortable I decided to pay the invoice, and accept the lackluster work, in order to avoid any further direct interactions with him. I would highly caution anyone against doing business or sharing your personal information with a man of this demeanor.
??????????Joe and his crew were absolutely amazing! He had two guys with him, and one of them, Josias, was such a sweetheart. He went above and beyond cleaning our windows and even told me that if I ever needed them cleaned again, he’d be happy to stop by. That kind of kindness and thoughtfulness really stood out to me.The entire crew was so respectful of my home, my kids, and me throughout the whole process. They worked efficiently, did a super good job, and left everything spotless. I couldn’t be happier with the results and the experience.If you’re looking for a window contractor who is professional, respectful, and truly cares about doing quality work, I highly recommend Joe and his team!
