We recently had 8 double hung windows replaced by Pella- Cheyenne. We have been very happy with the windows (especially the "hidden screens"). The lead time was reasonable, and Chris was easy to work with. The install team did a very good job. They were efficient in their time and demonstrated a high level of craftsmanship. We liked that we had a '1 stop shop', and that Pella had their own install team. While the installers were actually subcontractors, they were operating under Pella, and IF we had had a problem, we only had to look 1 place- Pella.
We did NOT encounter any problems. We had a couple of minor quality issues with a couple of window sashes, but Chris quickly got those issues taken care of. We are happy that we made the decision to buy from Pella.

Two years ago we decided to replace the windows in our home near Cheyenne and decided to go with Pella. The local sales guy came out with a contractor, Dave Walker from Laramie, to measure the windows assuring me that the install would be worth every nickel. I explained at the time that we intended to side the house sometime in the next year or so and this seemed the best first step.
The window came in a couple months later and the installers came out to install late winter in early 2023.
Yesterday I started to remove the exterior trim around the window and found that the installers never removed the exterior trim when they installed the windows. I paid an extra $6,000 for the install and the team was here for only one day. I now see how they were able to complete the install so quickly. The only windows that were properly sealed were the windows that had no trim. I'm honestly surprised by the shoddy workmanship. I did meet the crew that did the install. They were arriving as I was leaving for work. I expected the job to take at least two days but they were finished an gone when I returned home from work. the crew consisted of three guys in there late teens, early 20's. No clear foreman in the group. My guess is that they worked unsupervised which isn't uncommon for this type of work but their employer shouldn't let them work unsupervised if they're going to work like this. The windows seem to work okay but I would definitely suggest you hire your own contractor to install. I paid $6,000 and now I have to pay for 20 tubes of caulk to seal up the windows myself. I've attached some photos. The worst ones I've already fixed.

If negative stars could be given, I would give it a -5. Pella has been the most terrible company to deal with they installed our windows back at the end of November. We are halfway through April and our windows are still not done 5 months later! They have been so hard to get on the phone or to return our calls. They went unanswered for months we were finally able to get a return call from the GM himself. (Kyle)We were told the window and trim was on the truck and arriving within a couple days three weeks later we had to call him back and ask what was going on. He told us he didn’t know what we were told before, but that was wrong even though he was the one who told us, and now it’s still on the truck, now being delivered in the next couple days! they don’t know what they’re doing. I would absolutely recommend never ever use Pella in Cheyenne or Casper cause that’s where the GM is located.
