Deserves less than one star. I scheduled a handyman to stop by for an estimate this Monday over the weekend. I was told that I could schedule Tuesday and that I would receive a call in the late morning when the handyman was on his way. I requested someone to help bring a 138 pound 42.8” W x 62.6" L x 7.6” H box up two flights of steps (26 in total), unbox the base, place it on top of my existing bed frame, and place my mattress on top of it. Literally no assembly required. I have a stair climbing dolly and I anticipated doing all of the above as a not so strong person before I had emergency surgery last Friday.I didn’t receive a call until the handyman was at my door and I was quoted over $800 (including an $85 fee to stop by and provide an estimate that was never mentioned by the admin who scheduled me) to bring a box up the stairs and put a fully assembled base on the floor with my mattress on top of it. Obviously I declined. I would ask around your work, neighborhood, facebook etc before wasting time with this company.Additionally I specifically stated that I would walk with him to look at the house because I didn’t want my kittens to get out as they are strictly inside, and at some point he went downstairs to work on the estimate. When he went downstairs he had left the basement door to the garage open and the garage door itself was open. One of my kittens had snuck downstairs and could have at any point in time just ran outside. I only realized she was not where she should have been because she was so scared she was crying.
Technician was on time ...did excellent work and cleaned up afterward...had 3 gable vents installed
I had been having issues with the roof on my front porch for months. The company I hired kept “fixing” it, but they never actually fixed it. I asked them to come out again and after days of asking for an estimate, they quoted me a base price of $2600 plus $100 per sheet of wood if they found more damage. That seemed insane to me. So I called Mr. Handyman and asked if they could come look. They came the very next day and fixed the issue in a way that should have been done in the first place. The best part…only charged me around $560 to do the job right…the first time!
The staff Brandy and Patty were absolutely amazing and very helpful in getting me scheduled for an estimate of the roof repairs and repairs to my spare bedroom ceiling that had fell down to the floor from the leak in my roof!! Zac came out gave me an estimate and from there everything went smoothly and scheduled for my repairs! Zac completed the repairs in 2 days and absolutely ?? percent did amazing work! Thank you all for everything!! Highly recommend this company and Zac!!
Had a custom made awning and handyman was able to put it up with no issues. When I called they scheduled an appointment within 2 weeks. Very professional and nice gentleman. Cleaned up and left my property in great shape. I will use them again.
