One of the front facing windows of my home cracked for no apparent reason. It was a low-e, hurricane rated window so I wanted to have a reputable and knowledgeable contractor replace it.Glass Guru was very professional throughout the entire process. I was impressed with the ease of getting a quote and the electronic process of down payment and final payment. Once we finalized things, they came back out to be sure measurements were correct before placing an order.The original window was more difficult to remove than anticipated but the crew remained professional and courteous throughout.I was very happy with the end results and happy to work with Glass Guru.
I have used Glass Guru 3 different times now. They have replaced a broken bedroom window, a small bay window pane and replaced an entire curved bay window. They arrived when they said they would and all 3 of my windows look great. Highly recommend.
I had an insulated glass unit which had a broken seal so that the interior space was brown from condensation over time. The first place I called said they did not do that work and referred me to The Glass Guru. They came out promptly, measured and said they would notify me when the replacement came in. When the unit came in, they came and repaired my window. It was easy.
As a real estate agent, I have used the services of The Glass Guru for many years, and my clients have always been happy. Recently I needed to protect the tops of our bedroom dresser and end tables. I called The Glass Guru, they scheduled me quickly to measure, and installed the glass within a couple of weeks. Very happy with the service and quality of work.
Extremely disappointed with the end result of the services. Good customer service, poor end result.I had personnel come to my house to replace a window and several window latches early in October. The window installation went well, but they brought mismatching, cheap plastic latches for the latch replacement, and did not bring enough latches so some of the window spaces were latch-less (see attached). The latches that were installed were not flush to the window and were incredibly unsightly. I called them to reschedule, to have a simple installation of the latches that were originally supposed to be installed (about a 15 minute installation), and was told I would have to wait nearly a month for a technician to come out.Today, a technician finally arrived, but once again brought the wrong number of latches. As a result, he had to reuse some of the previously bought, plastic latches that were supposed to be replaced by this visit. The new latches that were installed on this visit were again crooked, and now scuffed up.Customer support was friendly but unfortunately does not make up for the poor workmanship. They did offer to come back again, and I genuinely feel bad leaving a negative review, but quite frankly I do not trust it will be any better after a third visit, and I fear that another attempt to fix it will cause more damage to the window and its frame, as new holes are being drilled in with every visit.
