I had an excellent experience replacing three of my exterior doors with ICON Window and Door. John was easy to communicate with and was quick to respond to my questions and requests for updates. His installer team, Gregg and Cole, did an excellent job with the installation: vigilant and quality workmanship. Cole, the lead installer, was very careful not to damage a special paint design treatment that was on the wall surrounding one of the door frames that was replaced; he also repaired some minor damage to a hardwood floor board that sustained damaged while removing some trim work. The end result looks great and I am very happy that I chose this company for this project.

Synopsis: They are great in every aspect, communication, knowledge of product, craftsmanship and labor, no haggling on price (unlike other companies in the area) very affordable quotes (price) for the quality of work.First off let me describe the hassle I went through trying to find the right contractor for the job. Once I reached out to Icon, BOOM John said I can do that and communicating with him was great all the way to the very end of the renovation they even came back for all their trash. But John was super knowledgeable about the products he uses and recommended me something that not will add value to the house but look aesthetically better More sound resistant than the old windows, UV light protection, Best of all there hurricane proof up to 170 mph winds. Also taking care of the absurd permitting needed by the city of Charleston (hate them btw) Thanks again John.Moving forward to demo day was slightly concerned because my luck it’s during a snow storm that had just passed through. Cole and the other installers who were with him knocked it out of the park and were a pleasure to talk to. They really showed my house the care that I was hoping for. Cole is one of those people that take pride in their craft and I wish him all the best.To finish this off trust me when I say the value of the work far exceeds their cost. I wish more businesses/companies would be as transparent and honest as ICON window and door. A few weeks ago we had Icon Window and Door replace our double front doors, transom and side lites. They look beautiful but more importantly they fit securely and open and close easily. We found his prices very reasonable after doing a lot of research. John answered all my questions and was always available. His installation team was courteous, friendly and answered my questions as well. If I ever need windows replaced I would certainly hire Icon again.
I greatly appreciate the work John performed during the replacement of 22 sets of deteriorating original builder window sashes at our home on Daniel Island. He came out, measured, and provided useful advice for a cost-effective replacement that didn't require ripping the siding or trim off of the house. The windows provided look good and fit perfectly. I know I was influenced to contact Icon because of the high Google rating. I'm pleased to say it looks well-deserved.
John and his ICON team did an outstanding job for us. We had a complex renovation and new addition project for our downtown home located in the historic district. ICON supplied all of our approved replacement historic windows, new windows at the addition, added stunning double entry doors to the front of our house and added new doors to back of the house as well. ICON also provided all interior doors (beautifully detailed and solid!) including 3 elevator doors. Quality and pricing was outstanding but service from John and his team was next level. We couldn’t be happier with the results and we highly recommend them to others??????????
