We had a complete window replacement in our home. 44 windows, I believe. The second winter, it was almost impossible to fully close our new windows. My wife and I went back to the showroom and when we described our window problem, the response was just what we hoped for. There had been a problem with gaskets in our manufacturing run of windows. New gaskets would be ordered and installed. This refit took place about a month ago. The two men who performed the work came exactly when they said they would. In addition, they were very professional, very tidy, and very neat. I can’t compliment them enough.
Windows and Doors By Brownell have completed several projects for us and have always done an excellent job. The most recent project was replacing double doors in the basement with a large picture window. The installation was beautifully done and the window looks as though it's always been part of the house. The installers are friendly, highly skilled, quiet and leave the job site spotless.
Working with Brownell has been the best home renovation experience I've had in nearly 30 years of owning a home. Because of the expense of replacing windows I didn't replace them all at once. For the first six windows I used a highly regarded general contractor who we'd used for other renovation projects and he did a good job. Then I had Brownell replace the next six windows and for the same cost they also included all the interior painting, exterior trim that did not require any painting and they had it done just a fraction of the time with minimal disruption of our day to day lives and no mess. Based on that experience, I hired Brownell for the remaining 18 windows and again, they had those done much more quickly and with a higher quality of workmanship than when we used the general contractor. The staff were exceptionally helpful, friendly, communicative and flexible when we requested to change the installation date several times. I highly recommend this company!
Outstanding experience from beginning to end. Had a leaking round top window that needed to be replaced. Window arrived when Paul said it would and Marcy from the warehouse accommodated our request to store the window until our contractor could install. Unfortunately the contractor we originally hired was unable to install due to a full schedule so Noah worked with us to get put on Brownell team's install schedule. Noah, McKenzie, and Brian communicated with us that they would fit us in when possible and they delivered on that. Amazing! Will and Steve on the install team did a fantastic job and we couldn't be happier with the overall experience. Thank You!
