Our building hired A1 Windows for window installation. While the team eventually completed the work, there were significant issues with the installation and caulking that were not up to industry standards. The installation team unprofessionally placed blame on our contractors for damaging the caulking.As a result, the strata had to cover repairs caused by the installation errors. While the caulking was eventually addressed, it was still not fully up to standard. Other units in the building also raised concerns about the quality of the installation.Photos are included to show the installation issues and resulting damage. I would recommend carefully confirming scope, quality, and accountability before hiring A1 Windows for similar projects.
THE NEW WINDOWS ARE AMAZING, AND THE INSTALLATION WORKERS WERE VERY COURTEOUS, CONSIDERATE & PROFESSIONAL ??We asked if these extra old windows & slider frame could be hauled away too, please. The installation was completed with slider door & all old windows taken back to the factory. Communication throughout the process was consistent & clear & courteous. THANK YOU
Windows were delivered and installed on schedule. Installers, Harmandeep and Harminder, were efficient and professional. We ordered 7 windows and they were able to finish the installation in one day. There was a small problem with our order ( small crack on one of the windows) but A-1 provided us good customer service and replaced it within less than 2wks. If you want good quality Canadian made windows, I would recommend them.
